LLAMAS FOR SALE

Our llama breeding program from the start has been to produce animals with exceptional conformation, disposition, fiber and "value".  It has taken since 1999 to produce animals available for sale.  With that in mind, we proudly offer the following:

Almost everyone in the llama community has heard of SRR OBSIDIAN, a champion show llama and herdsire.  He came to our farm in 2002 and has fathered over a dozen crias (baby llamas), many of whom continue his tradition of good show animals with the breeding qualities we aim for.  "SID", as we call him, has retired to the green Kentucky pastures at age 15.  KING ARTHUR, (above) one of his last remaining sons, is available.  He was born in November 2004.    He has the flashy "tuxedo" coloring, handles easily, and has beautiful conformation and fiber.   KING ARTHUR has shown very well as an intact male, and should do well in the ring as a non-breeder.  He is a large boy and would make an excellent canidate for guard, pack or cart driving.

Every farm needs a good gelding and they don't get much better than Danny.  He is an OBSIDIAN son, out of a light wool female.  His fiber is very good and his coat is easy to maintain, very important in a guard or companion llama.  We are keeping his brother as our herd gelding, and currently Danny shares Burt's duties, guarding and watching over our females and crias.

 Born April 14, 2006, Louie is a full brother to King Arthur.  He has a completely different look than his big brother.  Laid back and quiet, he is solid, true black with a "drapey-wavey" fiber.  He should do well in the show ring and would make an excellent jr-herdsire canidate.

Born April 23, 2006, Dr. Jazz is an Obsidian son with absolutely outstanding fiber!  He is an easy going boy with carmel/gray fiber that processes to a taupe color..  If you are looking to add wonderful fiber, along with great disposition, conformation and bone and an excellent bloodline to your herd, Dr. Jazz is a perfect canditate.

WE CURRENTLY HAVE TWO OBSIDIAN DAUGHTERS FOR SALE!

SHADOW DANCER and LADY GUINEVERE were both born in the spring of 2005 and will be bred this spring.  Shadow is being sold with a breeding to our herd sire SILVERMINE and GUINEVERE with a breeding to DRUMMER.  SHADOW has wonderful dark grey fiber and bred to SILVERMINE will most likely have a silver cria.  GUINEVERE is a large, dark brown light wool female.  They have good dispositions and great conformation.  Both of their mothers are excellent milkers and mothers.  We will be adding pictures of these two girls soon.
